Our client an award winning pub is located in a picturesque market town nestled in the heart of the South Downs National Park are looking for a Sous Chef to join their established team.
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic chef ideally with rosette experience.
As the Sous Chef you will bring a real ‘can do’ attitude and a passion to deliver the best food using all locally sourced and fresh produce. We are looking for a Sous chef or strong CDP looking for the next step up. You must have a steady and reliable track record in the kitchen, be happy working under pressure and have a positive thinking. A good sense of humour is a must.
The ideal Sous Chef will have:
*A minimum 12 month’s experience working as a Senior Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
*Passion for preparing creative and attractively presented dishes
*High level of product and food hygiene knowledge
*Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
*Experience of managing stock and wage budgets
*Confidence and adaptable communication style
This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a fantastic Head Chef preparing food with passion.
This position offers a salary of up to £30,000 DOE
