Our Client, is a fantastic leisure facility based near Basingstoke who are currently in search for a new Head Chef.
Through large investment it now offers a brand new concept restaurant and deli bar, providing casual dining with a busy breakfast and lunch service. You will be showcasing the finest of ingredients and enjoy dealing with local producers. You will be pivotal in putting this new concept on the map!
As Head Chef you will understand the importance of getting food right, you will use your culinary skills to create the best in customers food experience. Customer feedback and interaction is important, and you will not be afraid to come out of the kitchen when required. You will be responsible for running a small kitchen team, reporting directly to the General Manager. You must be capable of delivering a fast and consistent food service of high quality for casual dinners and banqueting guests.
Hours are based on 45 to 48 hours a week, and based around the business needs. Generally straight shifts, but will include weekends and evenings, although not late nights.
In addition to the basic salary, the client offers a fantastic bonus scheme, which is based on a % of net kitchen sales and is uncapped.
