Assistant Café Manager – Daytimes

A prestigious events venue with an onsite café are looking to recruit an Assistant Café Manager, they are located near Addlestone, Surrey.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisor / assistant manager experience within hospitality and catering, and an enthusiastic, hardworking approach with a passion for delivering the very best customer service.

Assistant Café Manager Responsibilities:
– Hands on management of the café operation
– Ensuring QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team
– Identify training requirements, develop & progress your team
– Ensure all team members adhere to cash handling and payment processing procedures
– Creating a positive team atmosphere & customer environment
– Ensuring counter & display spaces in all units are in line with guidelines and customer journey is considered at all times
– Monitor and ensure all storage areas are kept tidy and safe
– Cash control, forecasting and monitoring of staff roster in line with business targets
– Supporting of hospitality and events operations as required
– Ensure the Café is joined up with the rest of the venue and is part of the overall experience

The working hours for the Assistant Café Manager are primarily daytime shifts working 5 out of 7 days.

Food & Beverage Supervisor

Our client is an exclusive Private Members Club in the heart of Surrey, near Leatherhead and they are currently looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor.

Food & Beverage Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:
* Following guidelines and standards set by the Clubhouse Manager/Head Chef
* Ensuring the café and associated areas are presented and maintained to agreed standards at all times through following daily recording measures
* Preparing and serving a light snack menu with hot and cold beverages
* Providing a polite and efficient service to the members
* Take ownership and pride in their area of work adhering to the clubs health and safety policy to ensure that duties are carried out in the best interest of the club and its members
* To undertake training as and when required
* Maximise sales opportunities in their area through promoting and upselling

Requirements:
* Previous experience in a hospitality or customer focused environment
* Great team player, hardworking and enthusiastic
* The attitude to do what is right not what is easy

Hours:

Typical hours peak season are 8.30am to 4.30pm, off season 7am to 3pm. Full time and part time will be considered.

Café Manager

Our client, an events venue are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with a passion for delivering the very best customer service to join their busy hospitality team located near West Byfleet, Surrey.

The Café Manager role involves ensuring a strong relationship is kept with other departments and that our guests have the best possible experience and leave wanting to return!

Café Manager Responsibilities
– Full management of the Café, and seasonal support to outdoor pop-up units
– Identify training requirements, develop & progress your team
– Create a positive team atmosphere & customer environment

– Full control over stock for catering units in line with business levels

The ideal Café Manager will have:
– A flair for quality customer service
– A love of food & beverage
– Experience in a restaurant or café in a management capacity
– Team management experience
– Experience working in a high-volume, fast paced environment
– An understanding of how to make changes and improvements in catering units
– Demonstrable appreciation of customer expectations and commercial demands
– Demonstrable experience of thinking on your feet and taking the initiative
– Clear understanding and adherence to strong adherence to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt your approach
– Self-motivated, strong people leader who can set clear direction and pace

Kitchen Assistant – Monday to Friday

Our client, who cater for children’s day nurseries are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to work in their busy production kitchen near Guildford.

As Kitchen Assistant you will work in a team to help with food prep for 1,300 children each day, ensuring that preparation and allergen procedures are followed.

Working Hours for Kitchen Assistant:
Monday to Friday with no weekend work required and they take Bank Holidays off (with pay!) and close close for the Christmas week.

Ideal candidate will have experience in a similar ole.
