We are currently searching for a Café Manager for one of our clients based in North Surrey.

Our client is a fantastic venue offering a wide variety of catering and event opportunities as well as a busy retail and café space.

The café space is the thriving heart of the venue and offers a great meeting place for visitors. They pride themselves on fresh home cooked food as well a comprehensive drinks menu.
This is a thriving operation and can see exceptional levels of business at weekends and public holidays. The concept is casual dining with a fun and engaging level of service to its customers and clients.

Our client is looking for a manager who is hands on and who likes to lead the team by example, you will create positivity in the work place and empower your team to achieve great things. You will have great communication skills and have a proven track record of delivering an excellent customer experience, employee experience as well managing labour costs, hiring, training and juggling front of house and back office duties. You will also work as part of the wider catering operation and assist with planning and running of large visitor events and pop food and drink outlets across the venue.

The role will include all tasks associated with running a retail café including cash control, GP control, payroll, staff rota’s and ordering and stock control. Aside from all this you will love interacting with customers delivering a great level of service and operational standards.

The role is based on working 5 days out of 7, usually day time hours.

Our client has proposed a start date of May.
