Our client a prestigious golf club based in Berkshire is looking for professional Junior Sous Chef/Senior CDP to work alongside their high profile Head Chef. They are looking for someone to join the team and work towards the chef’s goal of taking the kitchen to the next level and breaking down the barriers and perceptions of when it comes to the food usually associated with golf clubs.
They are looking for a chef with vision, flare and most of all passion for the job.
Utilising only the very best fresh and locally sourced ingredients available, the menu constantly evolves, but at its core, are simple dishes, cooked to perfection, often with a creative twist, but being the very best example of that dish possible.
The chef’s duties will include:
*Enforce strict health and hygiene standards in line with the club’s policies and HACCP
*Cook the dishes on the menu to the required standard, paying close attention to the finer details of simple cooking.
*Follow the guidance of the Head Chef, and have input into new dishes, and presentations of the dishes we offer.
*Running the kitchen on the head chefs days maintaining he required standards of food
Ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in a Chef de Partie Role.
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
Ability to multitask and work cleanly and efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of best cooking practices.
Culinary School and Food Hygiene diploma
Salary is up to £26,000 depending on experience + benefits. You must be able to drive due to the location of the golf club.
