Our client is an independently owned, established restaurant in the heart of Surrey. They offer a warm and friendly atmosphere providing delicious cuisine from breakfast through to dinner, as well as a buzzing restaurant they offer an extensive deli bar offering the best in artisan produce including cheeses, fresh meats, pizza dough, fine wines and craft bear and even home-roasted coffee!
They are now looking to expand the team to include a talented Sous Chef.
You will work alongside the Head Chef and help to manage the kitchen including staffing, menu preparation, monitoring, stock control, training and overseeing quality and service.
You should have a proven track record of delivering quality food in a timely call order kitchen, you should be hands on and supportive and be keen to guide your brigade.
An interest and/or experience in Mediterranean cuisine would be an advantage.
Our client offers an extensive training and development plan. You will work 48 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis including evening and weekends.
