Hours: 0900 – 1430 Monday – Saturday.

Head Chef – Golf & Leisure Venue

Our Client, a fantastic golf & leisure facility near Weybridge, Surrey, are looking to recruit a Head Chef for their busy onsite restaurant and extensive conference and banqueting facilities.

As the Head Chef you will be responsible for running a kitchen team of 8 and you will be reporting directly to the General Manager. You will have overall control of the kitchen, including staffing, stock control, costing and budgets, and seasonal and function menu planning. You must be capable of delivering a fast and consistent food service of high quality, for up to 800 covers on busy days.

Head Chef Responsibilities include:
-Control and improve labour costs; Forecasting and monitoring of staff roster and payroll for all units in line with business targets
-Menu planning and creation to develop existing menus and offer fresh seasonal produce.
-Sourcing & management of stock for food outlets.
-Attend weekly management meetings and provide necessary departmental updates
-Full control over stock for catering units in line with business levels
-Supporting all retail outlets, including bistro, Grill, etc. as required
-Enforce standards set by the company and managers
-Introduce new ideas and set up standard operating procedures
-Follow Health & Safety requirements, and deliver staff training. Ensure recording accidents and ensuring that fire evacuations are in place.
-Identify training requirements, develop & progress your team

Chef – Exciting Concept

Our client a South African BBQ business are currently looking for a junior chef to join their successful and growing business, based near Liphook, Hampshire.

The company started as an events catering business over 10 years ago catering for parties, weddings and corporate events and clients include some top UK corporate companies. A couple of years ago they also started a mobile food truck that has been highly popular and successful. They provide not just fantastic food but an amazing food experience.

As the Junior Chef you will be working in a team of up to 3 and will be working on the pass as well as the grill/open fire. Assistant Manager

Our client has recently fully refurbished a Pub and Inn near Farnham, Surrey. The Pub is a destination Pub serving modern European Food created from fresh seasonal ingredients as well as a variety of drinks on the menu. The Pub has around 70 covers inside and around 30 outside.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Manager who has ideally worked within a similar environment to take control and accountability for the day-to-day operations of the pub whilst on duty and especially in the absence of the General Manager. To ensure all employees consistently achieve product and hospitality service standards.

Assistant Manager Duties Include:
*Ensure all standard checklists are used as prescribed.
*To empower team to be able to handle all guest feedback, both positive and negative, and for them to be confident accordingly.

The General Manager is responsible for the management and profitability of the restaurant, banqueting, weddings and events. Leading the teams forward to achieve the highest levels of customer service whilst identifying income streams, driving sales and managing costs.

Duties and Responsibilities
– As an experienced P&L manager you will drive profit margins, turnover and staffing ratios. To deliver and own, the annual budget projections and outcomes and present to the Board.

Junior Sous Chef – Golf Club

Our client, one of Surrey’s finest golf clubs based near Frimley is currently looking to recruit a Junior Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.

As part of this hard working brigade you will be assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in serving quality food to their distinguished members and guests. You will prepare meals for the members bar and functions. They are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to join an established Head Chef and help manage the kitchen and maintain high standards of cuisine and hygiene.

The Junior Sous Chef Role:
*Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef
*Working in a professional and friendly environment using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients
*Preparing Function meals & Bar Meals
*45 hours per week, mainly daytimes with some evenings

The Person
*A proven track record as a Chef de Partie/Senior Chef de Partie/Junior Sous Chef
*Able to work unsupervised
*Have experience of working in a busy, fast paced kitchen environment
*Good attention to detail
*Have a can do attitude

Cafe Supervisor

Our client a committed contract caterer are looking to recruit a Supervisor for one of their Cafe contracts in New Malden, Surrey.

Cafe Supervisor requirements:
*Take responsibility for the catering operation in line with Company policies, client requirements and financial constraints.
*Provide leadership and guidance to all team members to ensure a positive customer experience, under the guidance of the Manager
*Work with the manager to monitor the work of all the staff and carry out appraisals, recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.
*Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and client information.
*Ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and that their food service and value expectations are
consistently exceeded.
* Conduct Food Safety and Health and Safety Risk Assessments and ensure that all standards and procedures in respect of Hygiene and Safety are established and maintained

What would we like from our Cafe Supervisor
*Have experience in a supervisory or Team Leader role ideally in contract catering or hospitality.
*Use your entrepreneurial skills to create a thriving and successful working environment
*Possess excellent supervisory and communication skills
*Good delegation and influencing skills
*Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving
*Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service

Working Schedule
*Day shifts only
*5/7 days per week
*Will include working weekends
