Our client, is an independently owned café and tea shop on the outskirts of Guildford. They are currently looking to recruit a Chef De Partie to join their team.

The company very much pride themselves on the taste and presentation of their food with a high level service. This is a high quality food led business where all food is made on the premises from high quality locally sourced ingredients. They provide and the genuinely warm and friendly atmosphere within the café.

The company are looking for a candidate with a real passion for food, with great interpersonal skills, is outgoing and would have the ability to manage service confidently. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have a genuine interest in fresh food. You should also have the ability to work as part of a team towards the common goal of providing excellent product to the customer.

This is a fast paced environment, and experience of a similar nature would be an advantage.

The business is open daytime hours and shift pattern would be on a 5 days out of 7 basis, including weekends.

The Ideal Candidate:

– Must have existing Chef de Partie experience
– Pastry would be an advantage
– Warm, friendly personality
– A team player
– Lots of energy
– Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
– An interest in good food
