Event Manager – Events Catering – Nr Guildford
Our client is an award-winning event caterer based near Guildford, specialising in providing delicious food and exceptional service to weddings and parties across the South of
England. Their reputation has been built on our attention to detail and by consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations.
They are looking for an experienced event manager to join their team, looking after the clients and ensuring they deliver and maintain exceptional customer service for weddings, private parties and corporate events.
The successful candidate will work in a small, friendly environment as part of our experienced team, helping to create outstanding weddings and parties from initial client contact through to planning every aspect of an event and delivering on the day.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful and fast-growing company, where you will be involved in a wide range of activities including sales, marketing, logistical
planning, staff management, event planning and event management.
What are we looking for:
* The successful candidate will thrive on client contact and be equally comfortable dealing with brides-to-be, venue owners and young events staff.
* It is desirable that you have knowledge and experience of working as an Events Manager, however this is not essential.
* Weddings are a very large part of our business so, as well as working in the office planning and organising, the role includes regular weekend work and long hours, particularly from spring until autumn.
* Excellent administrative and communication skills are essential, as is a high standard of personal presentation. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
* Full driving license
