Our client an independently run Pub/Restaurant with an excellent reputation for fantastic food are currently seeking a talented and creative Sous Chef.
As the Sous chef Chef you will be working alongside the Head Chef with fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce. Everything is made from scratch from stocks and sauces, to bread and ice cream. They have their own smokers to cure meat and visit the fish markets for fresh fish. They are currently looking to gain their first Rosette. Menus change monthly and they currently have a brigade of 3.
As Sous chef you will be responsible assisting the Head Chef with menus, training and motivation of the team, ordering, stock control and producing food to an extremely high standard.
The Successful Sous Chef will have a high end restaurant service background, be creative and a good people manager.
You will be working 5/7 days per week, but with the fantastic benefit of every third weekend off.
Excellent salary package available for the right Sous Chef. Live in is also available if required.
